王府学子赢战2019“创计划”创客挑战赛

11月30日，由北京市教委指导，清华大学主办、清华大学基础工业训练中心、北京学生活动管理中心承办的2019“创计划”创客挑战赛在清华大学圆满结束，我校的四名参赛选手中，高一3班学生刘洪麟和高二3班学生李宇以出色优异的表现喜获比赛第二名佳绩，高一3班袁晔和高一3班张懂同学获得比赛第三名。

挑战赛采用创客马拉松式的比赛形式，共有来自全国60余所学校，近300名中学生参加。在两天一夜的激烈角逐中，选手们围绕本次大赛的主题——我们与冬奥的故事，通过设计思维引导、方案设计、作品创作，利用各类开源硬件、3D打印机、激光切割机等快速加工设备完成创意作品。

同学们在备赛、参赛的过程中很好地锤炼了心智、培养了自己的设计与动手能力，充分展现出了王府学子的气魄与能力。希望未来有更多的王府学子在这样的比赛活动中勇创佳绩、挑战自我！

The 2019 Innovate Talent Program was successfully held on November 30, 2019 at Tsinghua University and BRS students have made great achievements there. Liu Honglin in Class 3, Grade 10 and Li Yu in Class 3, Grade 11, have got the second place in the competition and answered the questions from judges calmly. Meanwhile, Yuan Ye and Zhang Dong in Class 3, Grade 10 have received the third place. 

The program took the form of a maker’s marathon, with a total of 60 schools in China and nearly 300 middle school students participating. During two days and one night, students explore the theme of the program “Story about Winter Olympics and us”. They complete creative works using design thinking, project design, work creation, and accessing all kinds of open source hardware, 3d printers, laser cutting machines and other rapid processing equipment.

In the process of preparing and participating in the competition, students from BRS tempered their minds, developed their design and practical ability, and showed their courage and ability. We hope that more BRS students can achieve good results and challenge themselves in the future!
