MOVIES &CULTURES CHINA AND GERMANY IN MY EYES

On August 18th, 2016, the closing ceremony of the culture exchange activity ‘MOVIES &CULTURES CHINA AND GERMANY IN MY EYES’ was held in Beijing Royal School by the Confucius Institute Headquarters. Thirty students from China and Germany were invited to make and exhibit short film about culture exchanges together, in various ways of interview, group works, and communication with experts. This program will last for two years. The three-week culture exchange activity will be held every year from July to August.

Shijie Xing from BRFLS took part in this activity and showed his film, which won wide praise from the audience and experts. After the premiere, Shijie Xing was interviewed by CCTV reporters. He said that he could not only visit Beijing but also listen to people’s opinions towards this city. In this way, he could know the city Beijing from both his own and others’ perspectives.
