On the 26th October, students from BRFLS Grade one and two are heading to “Xie Dao Green Ecological Education Base” to discover the season of autumn.
They started off at 8am. On the way to Xie Dao, they were so excited. They kept asking when they will reach and how much longer until they arrived at the Base.
They were met by a carnival. They rode rides and had a lot of fun with teachers.
Children had lunch in the café. They enjoyed it a lot.
After lunch, children went to the sewage treatment plant to learn the importance of water and how not to waste it. Then children went to the zoo. They had so much fun playing with the monkeys, swans, roosters and deers.
Next they headed to the mushroom farm, where they learned about all different kinds of mushrooms.
At 1pm, students went to see a performance of circus animals. “No pains, No gain”, is what they learnt from watching this show.
After the circus troupe, children were led to the children’s entertaining centre. They played on the children’s slide, swings and even the single-plank bridge.
Many students were so happy about the educational yet fun trip. They learned, played and saw many great things. These types of social activities are great for the student’s development.
