On the afternoon of December 14th, ‘I love read-aloud’ contest was held at RFLS. The 28 candidates from 1st grade to 6th grade read various articles during the contest.
The 1st round of the competition was for the 1st and 2nd grade contestants. The young but confident students used their powerful voice from their little bodies to shock the judges and the audience. Liu Zirui, Ma Tianze, and GaoShuxuan were highly praised by the judges.
The students from grade 3 to grade 6 were more intense with their performances. The contestants were able to insert feelings while they were reading their materials. Some students even prepared background music to amplify the emotion which they tried to express through their readings.
The last candidate went on the platform was Chen Fenglin from Grade 6. As the last contestant, he was pressured by the previous performances. Also, the audience and the judges were all tired near the end of the contest. However, just when Chen opened his mouth and hisvoice came out, everyone was amazed. The background music was the theme music from movie <House of Flying Daggers>. Chen caught everybody’s ear with his passionate performance.
